We are looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented General Accountant to manage and maintain accurate financial records, ensure compliance with relevant laws, and support the company’s financial health. The ideal candidate will be responsible for day-to-day accounting tasks, reporting, and reconciliations.

• Prepare journal entries, general ledger operations, and monthly closings

• Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions

• Prepare financial statements and reports in accordance with IFRS

• Handle accounts payable and receivable processes

• Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow

• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

• Ensure timely tax filings (VAT, corporate tax) and compliance with UAE tax regulations

• Manage petty cash and expense reimbursements

• Liaise with auditors, suppliers, and clients as needed

• Support management with financial analysis and reporting

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the UAE

• Solid understanding of accounting principles and UAE tax laws

• Proficient in accounting softwares

• Advanced Excel skills and knowledge of financial reporting tools

• High attention to detail and accuracy

• Strong organizational and analytical skills

• Good communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)

Preferred Skills (Bonus):

• Professional certification such as ACCA, CMA, or CPA (preferred but not mandatory)

• Experience in handling project-based accounting

• Familiarity with ERP systems

• Ability to work independently and under pressure
